Faces of Aviation -- University of North Dakota
October 6, 2026
Tracey Curtis-Taylor, one of our three co-founders, gave a keynote speech at the Faces of Aviation student conference at the University of North Dakota, to 500 university students about finding their own flight plan and having the courage to do so. Tracey also enjoyed a full faculty tour and met with students in smaller groups to offer mentoring and aviation career advice. The presentation was very well received with many students asking when Tracey will return to campus to meet with them again.
Leesburg Airshow 2026
September 26, 2026
We hosted hands-on aviation learning activities for more than 500 young people and their families, including how to read a Virginia aeronautical chart, find airports, locate runways with and without fuel, understand chart color circles, read a compass, find north, and create a flight plan using directions. Although it was a windy day for Captain Laura and Miss Mel, everyone had a wonderful time learning about aviation and making foam gliders together!
